A homeowner in Springville, FL was cutting down palm leaves and discovered a mother and her two pups clinging to a leaf that she had removed. The finder then proceeded to feed the babies, which can be deadly to the pups. After having the bats for two days she contacted us. We provided the contact info to a bat trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The mom and babies were transferred to the rescuer so they can be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
