A Mexican free-tail bat became grounded at the drive thru of a local bank. He appeared to have sustained an injury to his wing, which progressively became worse and worse until it was infected and prohibited his flight. Thankfully, he was spotted just as he was right in the path of oncoming cars. A good samaritan contained and then brought him out to us. He is antibiotics and will be with us while he heals. We are hopeful that he will make a full recovery and be able to fly free once again.
