A bat was found on the ground and stuck to duct tape after strong winds passed through Houston, TX. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat, who was then was transferred to Bat World MidCities where he was cleaned up and bathed to make sure no sticky residue remained. He will be assessed for hopeful release as soon as the weather warms up enough to produce flying insects.
