A young red bat, probably born this summer, was found after hitting a pane glass window in Winnsboro, TX. He was rescued by Bat World MidCities where he is being watched for complications due to his head injury. He is also being provided with injections of warmed electrolytes along with pain medication and easy-to-eat soft foods. He’ll be assessed for flight capability in the spring, when we hope to release him.
