Finder discovered a healthy juvenile bat in her yard. She was instructed by a veterinarian to put him in a bag and throw him away. Instead, she scooped him into a box and contacted Bat Word. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and connected her with a rehaber so that he can receive care until he’s old enough to be released.
