Texas – bat flying in local school

February 27

We received a call from a teacher at a local school in Mineral Wells, TX who explained that a bat was flying around in the common area of the school. The teacher was quick to action and had safely contained the bat before giving us a call. We sent a transport volunteer right away. The bat was brought to us where he will be assessed for hopeful release back to the wild.
