A young evening bat was found grounded outside of a pizza shop near Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas. The owner of the store, having been a follower of ours, knew that the little one needed help, and called us right away. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat, and the finder drove him to us for care. He will stay with us for a few days regaining strength, and once the heatwave has passed, will be released back to the wild.
