We received the following transcript via voicemail: “I’m at Sutherland’s store in Mineral Wells. I was just calling to let you know that we found a bat. It’s kind of small. Right now we have him in a box but he looks weak. If you could give us a call back that’d be great. Thank you. Bye.” We rescued the bat, who will be fine after a few days of supportive care. He will be released back to the wild when the weather warms.
