A small bat was accidentally injured on a construction site in Columbus, Ohio. Wanting to ensure the bat was safe, the workers got him contained into a box and began searching for help. We provided guidance on how to safely contain the bat and located a bat trained rescuer in the finder’s area. The bat was transferred to a rescuer where it he/she will be assessed and receive lifetime sanctuary as he/she will likely not be releasable.
