Diana Lee Coles was a longtime supporter of Bat World Sanctuary. She passed away on April 27, 2019. We later learned that she had left an astounding bequest to Bat World Sanctuary. With this gift, Diana allowed us to fulfill our longtime dream of having a small house for interns who travel to us to learn bat rehabilitation. 

Diana’s Memorial is located in the same portion of Bat World Sanctuary’s land, so that those may who come to learn about bats will also learn about the life and legacy of Diana Lee Coles. The Memorial area includes a protected area for deer to feed—all of which sits in view of our bat castle
